A rising star

Brian Otieno is a young, talented musician.  It is a real privilege to meet him.  Brian is well known in the local community and a rising artist in the music scene.

Brian sings about politics and the issues affecting the people of Kenya. The song that he plays in the video is about how poverty destroys lives.

Challenges

Learning to play a musical instrument is no mean feat, but learning to play the guitar when you didn't actually own one – that's impressive. Brian describes it as a challenge!

There are always obstacles which prevent people from succeeding in life and many give up.  But then there are people like Brian.  People who are dedicated, committed and exceptional; people who make things happen.
