All work and no play? Not here
The women in the video work at a coffee plantation. It looks like too much fun for it to be work as they sing, smile and talk amongst themselves.
These workers sort the coffee beans and pick out the defective ones. One small defective bean can alter, and even ruin, the taste of the coffee.
Coffee is one of Rwanda’s main exports and an important part of the country’s agricultural economy.
Sonia and Alain visit the coffee plantation to find out more about the process. Once all the beans have been sorted, they are put into a machine, packaged up and sent all over the world.
